Yes. Many residents choose independent living at The Bayshore first with the peace of mind of knowing that supportive care options are available should their needs evolve over time. We offer four levels of assisted living care that you can receive in your current apartment, so you never have to move.

Independent living offers a maintenance-free lifestyle with amenities and services that support active, engaged living, while assisted living provides additional help with the activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed. These would include assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, medication management, and other assorted services.

The Bayshore is a rental senior living community that offers the freedom of a month-to-month lifestyle, with no large upfront entrance fees or long-term contracts.

In addition to private pay, assisted living at The Bayshore on Hilton Head Island accepts select long-term care insurance benefits for assisted living, as well as benefits provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Aid and Attendance for eligible veterans and their spouses. We are happy to explore available options with you.
